Three preparation priorities

  1. Request current pension information
Sam identified two workplace schemes but does not yet have recent statements or valuations. Record the scheme names and request current information before asking a professional to analyse pensions.
  2. Complete the debt snapshot
List the current balance, regular repayment and statement date for each known debt. Do not include passwords or full account credentials in the working summary.
  3. Separate facts from questions
Keep the factual financial overview separate from questions about possible options. A qualified adviser can then address those questions using the complete circumstances.

Information checklist

“Available” means the fictional user said they could locate the information. SplitSmart has not authenticated, valued or verified it.

Important limits

This report organises information supplied by the user. It does not determine completeness of legal disclosure, assess credibility, calculate entitlement, value assets, recommend an agreement or predict what a court would order. Important information and decisions should be reviewed with an appropriately qualified professional.
